Join the Monday Pilates class at our clinic in St. Paul, Minnesota. This class is taught by occupational therapist Rachel Young MS, OTR/L, CKTP, who is also a STOTT® certified Pilates instructor. The STOTT® Pilates technique incorporates Joseph Pilates original concept along with cutting edge modern day advice from people in physical or occupational therapy, sports medicine, and other fitness professionals. This refined method of Pilates is very safe and produces some amazing results.
Each class is 1 hour long and will consist of learning basic principles of Pilates. As you progress, Pilates becomes more challenging and builds on your knowledge and endurance. Pilates is an exercise that works well for people of all ages. Although the class at IMPACT is geared for people with chronic pain, this class is also a great way to improve anyone’s overall fitness. Only a maximum of 8 people will be in the class, and that will allow for the instructor to provide close supervision and modification of exercises to meet each individual’s level and needs.
