Rachel Young graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota. Rachel has worked as an Occupational Therapist at IMPACT Physical Medicine and Aquatic Center since 2006. She has also worked in pediatrics, acute care, long term acute care rehabilitation, and hippotherapy, in addition to her experience as an aquatic therapist treating patients in IMPACT’s specialized PRISM Aquatic Center.
Rachel is certified in STOTT® Pilates, and enjoys teaching Pilates matwork at IMPACT tailored to each client in a weekly class, and in individual treatment sessions. Additionally, she is also certified in the Kinesio Taping® Method which she incorporates as another tool in a comprehensive treatment program.
Rachel takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, and focuses on the biomechanical influences on posture to help patients limited by chronic pain, including pregnancy and postpartum related pain.
