Curtis Johnson is a 1981 graduate of the University of Minnesota program in Physical Therapy. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, outpatient, long term and transitional care and he has been with IMPACT Physical Medicine since 1999.
His multi-faceted work experience includes sport, orthopedic, neurologic and chronic pain programs. He has advanced training from the nationally recognized Postural Restoration Institute, becoming Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) in 2010. He has attained certifications in MEDX Spinal Rehabilitation and Vigor (Nautilus) Strength programs. He also has experience practicing and teaching of the McKenzie approach, TMD therapy and evaluation/treatment of the foot and ankle.
Curt has held multiple leadership and management positions throughout his career, including past Chairperson of the MN-APTA Continuing Education Committee and past president of the Central Minnesota Orthopedic Study Group. Curt has extensive experience, both academic and clinical in custom foot orthotics and foot and ankle treatment. His passion is individualizing and perfecting the custom foot orthotic for the improvement of postural alignment, stability and function.
